This is a warning. There is a possibility that NATO is preparing a staged
massacre of Albanian refugees to get the excuse to attack Yugoslavia from
all sides and in that way defy the decisions made by the US Congress. We
could witness new Markale.
There are indications that NATO is preparing the ground offensive on
Yugoslavia as a whole and not only on Kosovo. According to the information
received from Macedonia and Albania all the Albanian refugees are
evacuating from the border areas and are being replaced with NATO troops.
Romania, Croatia, Hungary, Bulgaria Bosnia, Macedonia and Albania were all
forced to sign the documents allowing the NATO troops to launch the ground
attack from their territories. CNN has sent three full crews to Albania
equipped with satellite broadcasting equipment. Knowing their reputation
they always get sent to the crisis area "before" anything starts so that
they can prepare for the coverage of the "unexpected" event. There are also
indications that NATO is preparing to arrange a false "massacre of the
innocent Albanian refugees" that will be used as a excuse for the attack.
Our sources say that it will be probably done as a bombing of a refugee
camp in Albania or Macedonia.
Deb,
This information has been around for two weeks on different message boards.
This morning an alleged Croatian woman posted on Beograd.com another piece
of info claiming that the US and German pilots are training in Croatian Yastreb and
Galeb, Yugoslav made, airplanes. Yesterday CNN claimed that NATO shot down one Yugoslav airplane in Albania?!
Either Serbs are on a major offensive(?), or there is something going on
that we are not aware of. (surprise, surprise:-))
All of this info triggered my concern. So I just forwarded it.
Is it propaganda? Possibly! 100 downed NATO airplanes is propaganda.
This is a concern for the people in the region, as far as I can see it.
CNN's Amanpour is a bearer of bad/wrong news, as far as the Serbs are
concerned. And she is over there now.
I doubt it's Serbian propaganda, though. What would Serbs have to gain from
it?
Even Milosevich would have nothing to gain from it. Putting the story up on
the internet, then executing the murder to blame the West is far more fetched than the original rummor, IMHO. If this happened, the serbs would have yet another false accusation to try to refute, and the NATO ground force to fight. Like they any more.
Are the sources reliable? Is there anything reliable any more?
It is very possible that the Serbs (including myself) are paranoid at this
point. After Markala, after false accusation about mass graves and mass rapes
in the Bosnian war, after 8 years of sanctions, after Walker's late (and
probably malicious) accusation about Racak, after 50 days of
bombing, more stories of mass rapes and mass murders, after all of the above
and many more instances that general population of
the West does not know or has a wrong information about, I think you would
be paranoid as well.
Markala did happen, just not exactly the way CNN reported it. It was a pretext for a large US/UK/German involvement in the Bosnian war. By the way, even the UN report confirmed that Bosnian Serbs were not the guilty party in that instance.
If this warning has any merit, I think that the idea is to try preempt the
occurrence with this information. If it does not happen, we will never know. That's fine with me. Let's pray that it is someone's propaganda.
On the other hand, if it did happen, and I did not forward the warning to
others, I would feel very, very guilty. Don't wont to.
Look, even if somone in the mainstream media publishes this, and sites it as
an example of how screwed up the Serbs are,
it would be fine with me. What the hell, we have already been called
fashists, killers, rapists, murderers... Crazy actually may
be a good excuse at this point :-)
IMHO, Important thing here is that as many people as possible hear this
rummor, in hope that if there is any truth to it, it would
get to those who may be planning it, and make them think twice before
executing it. That is, if anyone has been planning it.
