Reparations for Women?

A note to World Net Daily's John Doggett, regarding David Horowitz's argument against reparations for blacks.

"Not from my white ass, you won't!"

Dear Mr. Doggett:

Regarding your call for reparations for blacks at Black reparations and conservatives, Part 1, Part 2, and Horowitz's reply:

You call yourself a black conservative; you have a nice, and well-worded, tendency to skewer the black shakedown artists, the Al Sharptons and Jesse Jacksons, in such a juicy way, almost as well as Ken "Black Avenger" Hamblin and Larry "Sage of the South Side" Elder. Thus I am a bit peed off that you would take up the cause, the shakedown of the white race--for that is what this reparations thing is, eh? A scam, you know--because no one that is alive today perpetrated a shameful scheme on no one you know that is alive today, slavery, thanks in large part to your own African ancestors. Like, you want me to pay, say, the black guy who raped me when I was 18, or the black guy who nearly took off my nose when he opened the door in a huff, nearly putting my nose out, and called me "racist" because I made a to-doo about it, or, say, the black man I called "Jiveass" (after a character in a Xaviera Hollander book, "The Lives and Loves of Mr. Jiveass Nigger"--yep that's the name of the book, alright!), who used to fondle my legs on the bus...you get the idea. Okay, okay, you will call me racist and perpetrate your own shakedown on me, but, Mr. Doggett, I am not paying you a dime. Your black-race compatriots' behaviors mentioned above are all the reparations you're going to get.

But, while we're on the subject of reparations, let me answer your charge that whites must pay reparations to blacks by countering your charge that, even if one's ancestors weren't even in the USA when slavery was going on (as with the case with my ancestors), whites all benefited from slave labor buildng this country, well beyond the year 1863, and all benefitted from the racism and Jim Crow laws, etc., afterward.

Sorry, but I can't think of one instance where--apart from the benefit any American regardless of race would receive from black slave labor or black discriminated-against labor just by virtue of the fact that I am alive--I have benefitted from any black. Well, except for a few black women friends I can think of, Oris Harris of Lakeview, a mostly black middle-class community on Long Island, Mary Bell, a big huge black woman with a heart of gold, whom I worked with at "Gift-pax" in Hempstead, New York--well, that's all I can think of--I have gotten nothing but grief from blacks. Mostly, black males with a hard on for white ass. That's not even as bad as what happened to my husband, who was--for no reason except he's white--was beat up by three black youth at Panama City High School, in the hallway, when he was 16.

It is absolutely amazing that we are not racist! (though, Mr. Doggett, I am sure you think we are--even so, I really don't care what you think. Defending my lack of racism is not why I'm writing this article.)

My point is this: if blacks get reparations from all white taxpayers for slavery over 150 years ago in a time when none of those slaves are alive and none of those slave owners are alive, then I am definitely within my rights to call for reparations for all women from all men!

Statisitics consistently bear out the fact that women have been given the short shrift:

1. Averaging out all numbers, women, since such statistics have been kept, have earned roughly half in wages and salary as men, for doing the same job. that's right, Mr. Doggett, white women (not to mention minority women) earn less than black men for the same job.

2. Housewives, unless given an allowance by their husbands or unless they do some sort of part-time work, earn nothing. Nothing, for making sure their husbands have a decently kept house to come home to from a salaried job, and for keeping young children (or in the case of homeschooling moms of which I am a proud member, children of any age) so that their husbands can go out and work. I can think of a word beginning with "s" that this situation might describe...

3. All things involving "building the country" being equal, women have done far more than blacks. Think about it, Mr. Doggett!

4. Since the liberal wusses at NOW won't do it, someone has to rectify this intolerable situation and call for reparations for women, so why not little ol' me?

Mr. Doggett, how much do you think you should give me for being part of a group of human beings--women--who are repsonsible for you even being here in the first place? when you come up with a figure, let me know. BTW, send your amount in a money order, please.
