Protesting the Kosovo War:

It'll Take Body Bags--Lot's of 'Em!

This editorial is not about the details of the senseless war in Kosovo-Serbia-Albania-Montenegro-Macedonia-etc. I think almost everything except the truth and nothing but the truth has been covered by the hawkish Establishment media and by its seeming "free press" alternative, such as World Net Daily and InfoWars. In any case, the latter two are only speculating on what the truth is--since neither one has any correspondents there it can only be commentary and speculation based on perhaps jaded sources. Nor can this humble e-zine cover such an issue without having someone inside the war zone.

This editorial attempts to figure out why Americans, who so vociferously protested the senseless war in Vietnam, are so silent now, particularly since bombing Serbia, Montenegro, and of course, Kosovo, is having no effect except making Slobo mad and destroying any hope that those Kosovars we're supposed to be helping to establish any kind of normalcy once they can return home, what with everything they ever knew being blown to bits. (The movie Blazing Saddles comes to mind: when Cleavon Little is getting ready to put on his guns to fight Mongo (Alex Karras), Gene Wilder tells him, "Oh, don't do that, you'll only make him mad." Because that truly is the only effect all this bombing is having on Milescovic--making him mad, intransigent, and basically impossible to "deal with.")

And that's another thing: Milescovic really is doing all those things and has done all those things CNN says he has. The man is a butcher. Prior to the war, most Serbians wanted to get rid of him, and, prior to the war, it could have been done. It's seemingly what the CIA does best. I mean, many a national leader has been terminated by this bunch. In Vietnam, for instance, it was Diem. Remember him, and remember how he didn't quite live up to US "interests"? Come on, folks, if NATO, the US, or any other power wanted Slobo out of there, they could have done it easily. The fact is, I am sure, that NATO wants the "Butcher of Belgrade" in there. I can only speculate why.

Then you have the KLA, an organization I have to comment on because such organizations are so rampant these days and because I have researched in my life the origins of such organizations. It is said by the media moguls that the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) is a grassroots movement against Serb oppression. That is impossible. The KLA is, and always has been in its short life, well-armed. It has also been always well-funded. It has always been run by student-intelligencia types. It is Communist. It is also running drugs, as part of its "well-funded-ness". How do I know this, since I am not there and do not know anyone in it? I know this simply because the KLA was unknown a few years ago. It is a historical fact that revolutionary organizations that arise out of nowhere are always Communist, well-funded, well-armed, and led by student-intelligencia types. I am not making this up, and, in terms of historical precedents, we have only to look at the history of the formation of modern Albania, because Albania is where the KLA was trained.

Albania was formed out of the ruins of the old Austro-Hungarian-Ottoman Empire in 1912, the movement led by student radicals (not necessarily Communists), funded, by the way, mostly by Italy. Eventually, the movement degenerated and became totally corrupted in the latter 1920s by Zogu, who proclaimed himself King Zog I, in the year I can't remember off-hand, but it was a quite a few years before Mussolini's Italy invaded it in 1937 (on the pretext that Italian- owned businesses, which in fact controlled Albania lock, stock, and barrel, called them in). King Zog, of course, knew about the impending invasion and obsconded with the national treasury to Franco's Spain. In the meantime, Enver Hoxha, having been educated in Paris (it's amazing how many Communinst insurgents are educated in Paris and elsewhere in Western European great centers of learning!), returned home knowing the Marxist manuals for fermenting revolution and started the Communist movement in earnest at home, particularly in Tirana, then Skodra, Durres and the other cities. By the time the Germans came in in 1941 to prop up Musso's faltering troops, Hoxha's Communists, playing "partisans", were strong enough to tie up the Nazis and eventually defeat them. Few know that Albania is perhaps the only European nation that kicked the Nazis out with virtually no help--not Britain's, and not even Russia's. Thus, in 1946, Hoxha was able to take over without opposition, internally that is. The only ones who did try to stop him were the Serbs. Remember Marshal Tito? Yugoslavia, at various times between 1946 and 1963 (when Hoxha had rival Teme Sejko kicked out and executed for "treason" relating to Sejko's dealings with Tito) tried to invade Albania on the alleged pretext that Albania was arming the folks in Kosovo for insurrection against Yugoslavia.

That was no pretext. Albania was trying to arm the Kosovars for insurrection against Yugoslavia! How do I know this? Because I have read the History of the Party of Labor (Communist Party) of Albania which freely admits this. What it doesn't tell, however, is how the government used its drug trafficking to prop up its treasury and support its "socialist programs." Albania is known to be a conduit for drug traffic, and it didn't get that reputation overnight. Think it through logically. Albania has almost no natural resources except chromium and bauxite and maybe a little natural gas, and almost no ariable land (Albania is mostly either mountains or swampland). So, how can a government bent on dictating to and feeding its 2 million people do this considering the land won't grow much and its cattle don't have much to eat? And how can a government arm its army to the teeth, build bunkers and duggouts the like of which existed nowhere else on earth (fact: according to a 1962 version of Guiness World Records, Albania had the most per capita armaments on the planet!), and try to "build socialism", that is, roads, rails, guns, factories etc, to keep its people on high alert at all times? I mean, folks, we're talking about the poorest nation by far in Europe here! We're talking about a country that had diplomatic relations with almost nobody in the west (except France and Italy), and had trade agreements with only China, France, Italy, the Arab nations and other third worlders. Nothing with the US and Britain, nor the old Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact nations. So how could Albania survive? The Party of Labor book answered that by claiming the Albanian people themselves were self-sufficient through their program "a pick in one hand, a rifle in the other." But it is only logical to assume Albania could only have done it with massive foreign aid. From who? From its closest ally China, which was going through massive upheavles itself, first the "Great Leap Forward" (Backward) and then the dreaded "Great Chinese Cultural Revolution" which almost put China back into the stone age? No. Albania survived (just as China survived) because it was running drugs, mainly heroin. That was the other side of Albania's close relationship with China, and it was plausible to consider no one in the west would find out about it (what with a lack of diplomatic ties and all, except to other countries such as Afghanistan and Iran that were also running drugs). That is why it shocked everyone in recent times to learn that, all these years, isolated little Albania was the chief conduit through which Europe received its heroin. Naturally, the KLA, having been trained there, would be helping it run its drugs as well. So much for "well-funded-ness," and the fact that the KLA is not only a Communist movement as well as Muslim and, of course, run by student-intelligencia types. It's "well-armed-ness"? Thank Osama bin Laden, everyAmericans man they love to hate. Only now he's supposed to be our "friend?" Gimme a break!

Having spouted that, time to get to the point of this article. The war in Kosovo is unwinnable. Never mind that NATO planes and technology is annihilating almost everything in Yugoslavia, especially in Kosovo. The Serbs and the others have gone through this before (since destruction thoughout centuries is a way of life in the Balkans). They'll go through it again, no problem. Not much will change for that part of the world, even if Kosovars are allowed back home, in which case hostilities will start up again in short order. And, it is unwinnable, because every last Yugoslav man, woman, and child would have to be killed or exiled (is that part of the plan??), and then you have a region that is, ecologically, unlivable and unworkable. You call that "winning"? In leiu of that level of terror even CNN couldn't possibly whitewash, ground troops would have to be utilized to ensure "peacekeeping." Well, that nonsense hasn't worked in Bosnia, and, as I have said before, it won't work in Kosovo because of the nature of that ethnic-cultural morass, with a little bit of blood-fued thrown in. And, what happens when ground troops are called in to an unwinnable war?

Body-bags. Lot's of 'em.

Think about it. And think about why most Americans really do support Nato's effort. CNN polls say they do (of course), Washington Post polls say they do, and WorldNetDaily polls say they do (to WND editor Joseph Farah's deep regret). I have said that, thanks to the establishment media's brainwashing the American people according to Tavistock Institute's guidelines, Americans are now unable to see through the emotional jingoism of CNN daily spin-horrors of Serb atrocities in the service to its New World Order masters, and are unable to understand that they have been set-up for this bloodlust gradually, over the years, by forces who would enslave them economically, emotionally, and culturally. Now, we didn't have the CNN nightly bloodfeast back in the sixties and early seventies. Yet, by early1968, most Americans did support their government's activities in Vietnam. Then came the Tet Offensive. Then came the body-bags. And only THEN came the protests! One can play devil's advocate and say that the protests were led by SDS, student-radicals and the radical-chic Jane Fonda-traitor types, desiring in fact to aid and abet the Vietcong, which they did. That may have been true in the latter part of 1969 with the moratoriums, but the very first, truly grassroots protests in 1968 were almost spontaneous. 1968 was a very spontaneous year, what with riots in Paris, Czeckolslovakia and, of course, Chicago. And I can honestly say that, while these demostrations may have been led by Commies, most people got involved because their boys, their friends, their relatives, and even kids they couldn't stand were coming home in droves in body bags. It was the horror of a war that was going on forever (when the VC could have been wiped out in a week) that got the people marching, and not love of a gang of commies. Okay? Remember now? It was 25,000 body bags that got people to openly acclaim they hated war, death and destruction.

So for right now, the only protests I hear about are on the internet, and, weirdly enough, the only "street" protests I have heard that might be happening stem from Bob Enyart's exhortations through his radio program and his Shadow.Gov web site. Just as Enyart--who is now in jail by the way--led the destruction of OJ Simpson's auctioning property to avenge Simpson's "getting away with murder" agenda, he is, from jail, trying to organize a grassroots protest movement on the streets of America. Some complain that on-line protesting isn't good enough and those ought to take to the streets. But until a mass of people are able to be counted in them, demostrations now only serve to point out how numbed we really are emotionally. Besides, with the internet growing the way it is, it is an excellent protest tool. I use it every day. Beats walking ten miles on a hot day with no water in filthy New York City to Wall Street, only to nearly get beat in the head by warhawk construction workers. Only now, the bullies will be lilly-livered liberal/socialists wearing "Clinton is our leader, he will not be moved!" buttons instead of little American flag pins. Hoo-wah!
