Here's MY Rant
Probably, Osama Bin Laden is directly related to the terrorist attacks. According to WorldNetDaily, the Israeli intelligence service, the Mossad, informed the US government three weeks ago that Bin Laden was planning a very big attack here. Since I saw that story in Wednesday's WND (sorry, I didn't copy the link to it, but is easily searchable), mainstream sources have confirmed it. Bin Laden has attacked American military targets before (USS Cole, embassies in Tanzania and Kenya, etc.) and has always vowed to destroy what he calls the "Great Satan", the US.
Further, Bin Laden is a CIA creation. He is allied with our "Balkan Buddies", the KLA/NLA/UKC, and is supporting the Chechens, our allies against the Russians (just as the CIA brought him along to help us destroy the old Soviet Union using the Mujahadeen in Afghanistan). Even if the CIA and the US government disavows all knowlegde of their connections to Bin Laden, that doesn't mean it never happened, and that doesn't mean he wasn't used by rogue forces within our government.
I am no power elite insider. But just as there are "rogue agents" within the FBI, CIA, NSA, and other intelligence services, I believe there are "rogue" operatives within the US government.
This is NOT to endorse the notion that the highest officials within our government actually were behind the attacks. But who knows? The following link claims a "pro-Bush faction" is behind the attacks; the author of this interview claims an Air Force Intelligence officer knows of a plot by members of this "pro-Bush" faction to destroy our remaining liberties, and has since e-mailed me saying that the leader of this faction is Dick Cheney! (You know I have been wondering all through this why hasn't Cheney shown his face on TV?).
I am not going to go out on a limb yet and back this notion--I have supported various "conspiracy theories" in the past (such as this one that probably isn't true after all--though we will find out eventually) and won't entirely believe this one until I have more evidence, okay? But, if Cheney and others are not directly behind the attacks, rogue elements within our government almost certainly had to know what was coming down, and they did nothing!
The other thing though is one thing that has bothered me during this whole time: the fact that flight videos and flight manuals in Arabic were found (shown on CNN) on Thursday in a white car found at Logan Airport in Boston (from where the WTC attack planes took off), ostensibly the car used by the terrorists. My first thought was "That's convenient"; apparently, other TV commentators thought they might be planted as well, but the story was never seriously pursued.
So, to sum up my two cents: At this point I can't believe our legitimate government backed the terror (can Dubya and company be THIS EVIL???), but I do believe they knew about it and did nothing.
